German engineering was at its best when the Volkswagen Polo was launched in India. The car met with astounding success in the Indian market al thanks to it’s brilliant performance. The German car manufacturers is all set to capture more Indian hearts with their new release, “The Volkswagon Vento” This car is the Saloon version of the popular Polo Hatchback.
Volkswagen is getting the Vento ready in the Chakan plant near Pune along with the hatch back version of Polo which itself is a big hit in india. According to industry sources the saloon version of the POLO is all set for a release on July 6th 2010. This car is a sure to be a fierce competitor to Honda City, Toyota’s new saloon “Toyota Etios”, Fiat linea, the new Hyundai Verna Transform and more. The Car does carry the understated looks of the Polo but the VW designers has designed the notchback portion with very pleasing proportions and hence makes the car visually very appealing. 
The car gets the stylish look and the confident poise from the curvy roofline that is elegantly drawn . The Polo in its sedan guise as Vento tends is far better in terms of its sophistication and luxury than the sporty and aggressive lines of the hatch design. The creases that run alongside the car gives a very modern touch further complimented by the six-spoke alloy wheels. In India, price is top priority and this car will surely satisfy propsective buyers with its price tag of 7 to 8 lacs. The car comes in 5 vibrant colors such as Deep Black, Flash Red, Glacier Blue, Silver and Candy White.
